1. Services

JAC and Company Logistics LLC provides trucking, freight transportation, and logistics services throughout the United States. All services are subject to availability and applicable laws and regulations.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All freight quotes are estimates unless otherwise stated in writing. Final pricing may vary based on:

• Actual weight, dimensions, and classification of freight
• Special handling requirements
• Route changes or additional stops
• Market conditions and fuel surcharges

We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the freight description is inaccurate or incomplete.

3. Booking and Cancellation

All bookings must be confirmed in writing or via our digital platform. Cancellation policies vary based on service type and timing:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup may not incur fees
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in cancellation charges
• Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your service agreement

4. Shipping Requirements

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate freight descriptions, weights, and dimensions
• Proper packaging and labeling of all shipments
• Compliance with all applicable shipping regulations
• Ensuring freight is ready for pickup at scheduled times
• Providing safe loading and unloading conditions

5. Liability and Insurance

JAC and Company Logistics LLC maintains appropriate insurance coverage for freight transportation. Our liability is limited to:

• The actual value of goods damaged or lost during transportation
• Maximum limits as specified in our service agreement
• Coverage as required by applicable federal and state regulations

Claims must be reported within the timeframe specified in your service agreement. Additional insurance coverage may be available upon request.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms are established in your service agreement. Standard terms include:

• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed
• Late payments may incur interest charges
• We accept various payment methods as outlined in your agreement

We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with overdue balances.

7. Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

• Hazardous materials (unless specifically authorized and properly documented)
• Illegal goods or contraband
• Items prohibited by federal or state law
• Perishable goods without prior arrangement
• Livestock or animals

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, labor disputes, government actions, equipment failures, or other force majeure events.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
